About Wolfe Law, PLLC

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Kristine Wolfe.  I was born into a military family in Illinois, however, we moved to Northwest Indiana when I was 8. (For those that are wondering, my dad’s side of the family is Air Force. My husband is retired Army. It’s a thing.) I  own a very loving and mildly dumb Bagle (Bassett/Beagle mix) named Bowser and a crazy black Labrador named Fish.  In my spare time, I enjoy watching TV shows that my husband hates, reading, and having a glass of wine.

My Story

I received my B.A. from Valparaiso University, where I majored in political science. After graduating magna cum laude, I continued on to law school at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, where I received my J.D. in 2005.

After graduation, I worked for the Commonwealth of Virginia as a prosecutor where I focused on fourth amendment issues as well as other cases such as Armed Robbery and Murder.  Due to my success, I was given a detail to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where I prosecuted firearms and drug offenders under Project Safe Neighborhood. I would eventually return to Virginia to work for the Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, again with a focus on fourth amendment issues.

I moved out of the area, because my husband was active duty military. We first went to Fort Bragg, NC, and then to Fort Huachuca, AZ. We fell in love with the people, the mountains, and the small-town way of life, so we chose to make AZ our home for about ten years.

While in Arizona, my husband and I opened our business, Hoppin' Grapes, in December of 2013.  Hoppin’ Grapes was a thriving business that gave me a tremendous amount of joy. During that time, I became an elected member of the Sierra Vista City Council (the city where Fort Huachuca is located).  I also, became a member of Rotary, the local chamber, the hospitality association, and Friends of the Animal Shelter.

We moved back to Virginia in 2023. We chose to close our business and pursue some different opportunities. My husband retired from the Army. We were free to move where we pleased. We both enjoyed the Hampton Roads area (which is where we met). I still owned a house in Newport News and we moved back. My husband, now, calls our house a farm because I enjoy gardening.

I decided to become a Trusts & Estates attorney, because I feel it is one of the very few areas of law that can actually help people during a very hard time in their lives. I want to be able to help people when they are hurting and need it. I am building a law firm committed to making sure that we take care of families in a time of need. I would consider it an honor to help you and your family. If you want to take care of your family, please reach out to me at Wolfe Law, PLLC. The phone number is (757) 741-8695. My email address is kristine@thewolfelaw.com.

I look forward to hearing from you!
